Keywords Unlocked Publishers was founded by Dr. Keyimani Alford to help writers tell their stories with purpose and professionalism—without losing creative control.
After self-publishing six impactful books and learning the process firsthand, Dr. Alford launched Keywords Unlocked to simplify the journey for others. What began as “KeyWORDS” motivational content grew into a full-service publishing platform rooted in authenticity, empowerment, and integrity.

Dr. Keyimani Alford is an accomplished author, publisher, and leadership expert dedicated to helping others bring their stories to life. As the founder of Keywords Unlocked Publishers, he has successfully written, published, and marketed multiple books, including the critically acclaimed memoir Oakland Hills, Milwaukee Rivers, and the leadership guide Unshaken Leadership.
With proven expertise in manuscript development, book design, and strategic marketing, Dr. Alford blends his experience as a storyteller and business professional to guide authors through every stage of the publishing process.
